About

I'm Mike Bourbeau — a technical art lead based in New York. For over twelve years I've helped build award-winning games, interactive experiences, apps, websites, and ads: the first seven years at New York agencies, and the last five leading a global team at Meta.
I work where art meets engineering, specializing in real-time 3D and the pipelines that power it. I build the tools, automation, and systems — Unreal and Unity, Houdini, Python and PySide — that let artists and engineers move fast and ship polished work across web and mobile.
Most of what I do is connect craft to production: standing up pipelines that scale from a prototype to a global launch, and leading teams to deliver work that's been recognized at film festivals and award shows around the world.
